Grief Support
Bereavement Walking Program
The Bereavement Walking Program combines fresh air, exercise and companionship for those who have suffered the loss of someone in their life. The group is facilitated by trained hospice volunteers. Participants walk at a casual pace for about an hour, followed by the option of coffee and continued conversation. Groups are offered on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in the spring, fall, and winter, and run for 8 weeks. There is no charge to participate.
